Bits and pieces of MY LIFE

14th of February is here again, the Day where girls rejoice, and guys draw a big hole in their wallets (or what’s left of it anyway). While couples around the world celebrate this holy day, singleton do not get to join in the fun. Many people are often pestered by the dreaded Question "Do you have a date?" "Watcha doing for V-Day?". Here are some ways to shrug the questions off:

1. When asked by a guy whether you have a date for the umpteenth time, just shrug it and say "If you are so busy going around pestering others whether they have a date, why not get one yourself?" (Those pestering fleas should immediately shut up. Statistically proven that people who ask these questions usually do not have a date.)

2. If so happens that the flea has a date, then you say "Oh really? Then looks like you can’t join me clubbing where the best chicks in Singapore go to." And if he goes on calling you a loser, then go to step six.

3. Alternatively you can fake it and say that your gal is overseas, and then proceed to do the fretting "I’m so unlucky, we are separated such a long distance. I will probably be thinking about her tonight :-("

4. Another method is to do the guy-being-ditched syndrome. Which is not uncommon nowadays "I recently recovered from the trauma of being dumped. Please do not remind me of the horrors of V-day"

5. When you are really pissed off, just slap the guy and then shout out loud in public "Please don’t act like a loser for not having a date, going around asking people what they are doing for V-Day. Not everybody is free, YA KNOW !!!" Then rampage off leaving a stunned flea.

6. If all else fails, then grab the nearest person that you know and pretend to talk to him or her about your plans for V-Day. The Flea would probably @#$% off. And then the friend that you were talking to will bring you back to step one. Things are gonna be ugly.
